  • Hohoe Reservoir, Dayi river
  • Lipke Kukurantumi, Dayi river
  • Wli Falls, Nuboi river
  • Tsatsudo Falls, Tsadudo river
  • Dodi Papase, Asukawkaw river
  • Ahamasu 1, Asukawkaw river
  • Ahamasu 2, Asukawkaw river
  • Menusu, Menu river
  • Afife dam, Klipka river

The preliminary study consists in:

  • the determination of the amount of the monthly average flow rate for the single analysed river
  • the identification of the usable flow rate for the production of electricity
  • the identification of the type of the equipment to use
  • the approximate costs for the construction of the single plant and the economic analysis of the plant

Turning Leaf Project: Preliminary Study completed https://eqoproject.com/?p=511 https://eqoproject.com/?p=511#respond Sun, 22 Mar 2015 10:55:35 +0000 http://eqoproject.com/?p=511 EQO Project has completed Turning Leaf’s next project phase and compiled the preliminary study to showcase the venture to partners, stakeholders and  investors in Bahrain and in the GCC.
The study deepens the medical concept that specifies the core of the Turning Leaf project, refines the architecture and design principles with regards to varying project settings in the GCC and writes out a detailed investment proposition to provide a wider base for decision-making. Main topics of the study are

  • The Need for Turning Leaf: cause analysis and solution statement about obesity and diabetes in the GCC
  • The Threat of Obesity and Diabetes in the GCC: background information and situation analysis
  • Main Complications of Obesity and Diabetes: abstract of medical knowledge base
  • Prevention, Training, Therapy and Rehabilitation: introduction to the Turning Leaf concept
  • Health Care, Medical Proposition: specification of Turning Leaf’s target group, the therapeutic approach and treatmet concept.
  • Architecture & Design: introducing Turning Leaf’s adaptable concept and organisation, its observance of privacy and discretion, the distinctive empathic embodiment and the implementation of the Active Design principles
  • Sustainable Investment Proposition: competition and stakeholder analysis, operational expediture & revenue assumption, business development planning and investment payback curve

Continuative meetings with stakeholders are ongoing in 2015 the implementation of design engineering, medical plan and investment plan are ready to initiate.

Waterworks Energy: Visit to Ghana’s Volta Region https://eqoproject.com/?p=460 Thu, 05 Feb 2015 10:25:56 +0000 http://eqoproject.com/?p=460 EQO Project was invited by the Paramount Chief of Asogli, Togbe Afede XIV, to visit the Volta Region in the Republic of Ghana to perform a first examination of 8 sites with prospects for smal hydroelectric power plants.

The sites were recommended by a feasibility study developed by the Ghanaian government to improve the production of renewable energy.

EQO Project was asked to

  • estimate the potential annual power generation in kWh
  • compile general criteria for the realization of the power plants
  • evaluate the project impact on environment and landscape
  • rate the potential development of the hydrologic cycle in respect of drinking water supply and wastewater management.

A visit report was hand in to the Ghanaian partners and a continuative survey by EQO Project of the potential sites is planned for March 2015.

Waterworks Energy – Project Development https://eqoproject.com/?p=166 Sat, 20 Dec 2014 14:31:37 +0000 http://eqoproject.com/?p=166 Mini and Micro power stations (50 to 300 kW) installed inside existing water networks to exploit the pressure of water for the production of energy.Secondary use of natural resources permits a boost in profitability of water supply networks, with small investments and quick returns.
Small power plants can be fundamental for the development of small and marginal communities which are not fully connected to major infrastructure networks.
In summary, small investment quick returns.

EQO Project launches Turning Leaf https://eqoproject.com/?p=1 https://eqoproject.com/?p=1#respond Wed, 17 Sep 2014 13:49:18 +0000 http://eqoproject.com/?p=1 EQO Project is pleased to launch the Turning Leaf project: a fully integrated preventative approach to address the GCC challenge of overweight, obesity & manage diabetes.

How is it different? As an approach it is unique, it simultaneously addresses symptoms and underlining causes; attitude & habits, exercise, diet with frequent monitoring and extensive peer pressure to bring about sustainable change for its members. As a business, it exploits a significant GCC industry gap as there are no competitive consolidated structures offering preventative services.

How will it work? Turning Leaf is open for men, women and children, you are a member of a community or club, where people share a similar goal, profit from personalized programmes and use the many facilities & resources of the centre to achieve a behavioural change.

What innovation is used? Turning Leaf is synonymous with innovation, leveraging organic foods, healthy restaurants, hi-tech exercise equipment, state of the art technology for member monitoring & measurement, mini mall with bio shops, etc.How do I relate to this? We have prepared a 2 page flyer which outlines the concept & opportunity for strategic partners, co-developers & investors.

We are looking for people or organizations who can bring significant value to this opportunity. Contact us on info@eqoproject.co.uk

Greenhouse Power – Project Development https://eqoproject.com/?p=174 Tue, 07 Jan 2014 06:44:35 +0000 http://eqoproject.com/?p=174 Through the requalification of existing greenhouses for the production of flower plant by changing the energy source.
Energy used for heating is one of the major components of the production costs for flowers and small plants; by changing the energy source from gas to biomass and with a clever use of incentives schemes for the reduction of fossil carbon dioxide emissions, there will be a direct & immediate bottom line impact for businesses.
Another, small investment big return project.

Green Build: Zero Emissions House – Project Development https://eqoproject.com/?p=177 Thu, 14 Nov 2013 10:10:36 +0000 http://eqoproject.com/?p=177 Through an intelligent approach, leveraging local materials such as stone and wood and the use of sun as main source of energy, it has been possible to design and build family houses in the Swiss Alps with an exceptionally low environmental footprint.

The total energy consumption for all the family household requirements including heating in winter and cooling in summer is less than 2.5 kWh; this represents a 70% reduction in energy consumption compared with similar family houses in the same region.
